Cider-Braised Chicken, Sprouts and Apples

Ingredients
4 medium slices, cooked (raw pro Bacon, pork, microwaved 8 thigh, bone and skin removed Chicken Thigh 2 serving Granny smith apple - 1 med. apple 1 serving Alpine Spiced Apple Cider sugar free 4 tsp Thyme, fresh 4 tsp Maille Dijon Whole Grain Mustard (by MAMAE73) 1 tsp Coarse Kosher Salt, Morton (by DJARTIST) 2 cup Brussels sprouts, cooked
Directions
In a very large skillet fry bacon that has been diced up , until well browned. Remove bacon reserving drippings in pan. Add 8 bone in chicken thighs, skin side down and cook for ten minutes or until browned turning once, remove from pan. Add 2 firm apples that have been wedged and cook on both sides until brown on both sides. discard drippings. Add 12 ounce bottle of cider (or apple juice) along with fresh thyme, mustard and salt to pan, scrapping up brown buts. Bring to boiling, reduce heat. Return chicken to skillet cover and simmer for 10 ,inutes. Add 2 cups trimmed and halved Brussels sprouts. Cover and cook for another 5 minutes or more until tender. Sprinkle with bacon bits and sereve
