1 lb. Smoked sausage cut into 1/4-1/2 in. Slices1/2 cup chopped Shallots 4 cloves Garlic minced8 cups, chopped Cabbage, fresh 1.5 cups, chopped Carrots, raw 8 cups organic low sodium Chicken Broth 2 cups Water, tap 1 cup, diced Celery, raw 1.5 cup, cubes Rutabagas 1 tsp Onion powder 1/2 tsp. Salt 1/2 tsp. Pepper, black 1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Heat the oil in a medium skillet.
Cook the sausage, garlic, and shallots until softened and the sausage brown.
Add this mixture to a large pot or crockpot.
Add the other ingredients and cook until all vegetables are soft.
Serving Size: 1 1/4 cups is a serving
