Sugar Free Mint Choc. Meringue Cookies

Ingredients
4 egg whites1/2 tsp. cream of tartar1 c. Sugralose (Splenda)1 tsp. vanilla1/2 to 1 tsp mint extract10 squares Hershey's Extra Dark Pure Mint Dark Choc. Squares (chopped into small pieces)
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 F. Line cookie sheet with foil or parchment. Set aside.
Beat Egg Whites with cream of tartar until fluffy, then gradually add sucralose. (may add pinch of salt if desired). Add vanilla & extract. Continue beating until medium stiff peaks form. Fold in chocolate pieces.
Drop by teaspoon or use pastry bag to form small cookies onto prepared cookie sheet. Bake 10 minutes (do not let cookies start to brown). Turn off heat, and leave cookies inn closed oven until cookies are dry, (generally takes at least 4 hours or overnight).
Makes 50 small cookies (10 servings of 5 cookies each).

    Recipe looks great, but I have to question the calorie count.It says there are 12.3 cal per cookie & 10 servings per batch. So the total would be 123 cal for the whole thing! But the calories for 10 squares of the chocolate is 525 + 64 cal for 4 egg whites = 589 cal for the batch and 58.9 per cookie - 12/7/13
