BLT Croissant Sandwiches

1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened1 (3 ounce) package goat cheese, softened1/4 cup chopped oil-packaged dried tomatoess1 tsp dried basil6 large croissants, split horizontally12 slices bacon, cooked3 plum tomatoes, sliced6 Bib or red leaf lettuce leaves
Combine cream cheese and goat cheese, stirring until smooth stir in chopped tomato and basi. Cover and chill 8 hours, if desired, to develop stronger flavor. Let mixture stand at room temperature to soften slightly before spreading on bread.
Spread cheese mixture evenly over cut surfaces of croissant halves. Place croissant halves, cheese side up, on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake, uncovered, at 325 for 5 to 7 minutes or until cheese mixture is thoroughly heated. Place 2 strips bacon on bottom half of each croissant; top evenly with tomatoe slices, lettuce leaves, and croissant tops. Service immediately.
