Onion soup - low calorie

Ingredients
1.0 large Onions, raw6.0 cup Beef Broth - Swanson Low Sodium1.0 tsp Bragg All Natural Liquid Amino1.0 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar, Bragg's Organic0.5 Grams Bay Leaf1.0 tsp Thyme, fresh3.0 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap
Directions
Brown onions, salt lightly, add whole bay leaf and whole sprig of thyme (will take them out at end.) Onions should be charred but not burnt. Deglaze pan with aminos or Apple cider vinegar. Do this 2-3 times, can also use water or beef broth to deglaze. Add beef broth and water let simmer 20-30 minutes. Take out sprig of thyme and bay leaf. Scoop some of onion out and blend, then add back.
