Lentil Salad

Ingredients
2.5 cup Lentils, cooked 1 cup, chopped Onions, raw 1 cup, diced Celery, raw .5 cup (not packed) Raisins 1 cup, quartered or chopped Apples, fresh with skin 1 tsp Salt .5 tsp Pepper, black 1 tsp Curry powder .5 cup Mayonnaise, regular (mayo) .5 cup Sour Cream
Directions
Rinse 1 cup dry lentils in a strainer to remove dirt. Cook lentils in 3 cups for about 18 minutes. Drain. Let cool. Add the chopped ingredients. (When dicing the apples with skin on soak in a diluted lemon water to retain color and add another layer of flavor - then drain before adding). Mix mayonnaise & sour cream & seasonings and stir into lentil,fruit, vegetable mixture.
