Southern Cabbage

Ingredients
1 head, large (about 7" dia) Cabbage, fresh, quartered, cored and cut into 1 inch pieces2 tbsp Butter, salted 2 tbsp Crisco Pure Vegetable Oil 0.25 tsp Salt 0.25 tsp Lawry's season salt1/8 tsp black Pepper, ground 1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Yellow Onion, raw, diced 1 can (10.75 oz) Chicken Broth 6 drops liquid smoke1 Tbsp minced garlic
Directions
Melt butter & oil together in large pot. Add diced onion, spices and onion. Saute on medium until onions are translucent. Add broth. Add cabbage. Return to boil, then simmer on low, stirring occasionally, for 12 -15 minutes.

Serving Size: 24 cups, but reduces by half, therefore 12 x 1 cup serving.
