5 medium Egg, fresh, whole, raw 300 grams Granulated Sugar 200 grams Butter, salted 44 mL Rum 1 dash Salt 375 grams Flour, white 150 grams Hazelnuts 15 grams Baking Powder 125 mL Milk, canned, evaporated
Heat oven to 350
Prepare Bundt pan
Finely grind the hazelnuts
Cream together: eggs, sugar and butter.
Add rum and salt.
Sift flour and baking powder
Alternate Blending the flour, ground nuts and milk into the liquid mixture
Spoon mixture into baking pan
Bake 50 minutes in convection oven 60 minutes in normal oven
Check for doneness using a toothpick
Serving Size: 12 slices approx 4 ounces each
