Asparagus Soup low carb

Ingredients
1 stick Butter, salted 1 quart Milk, 2%4 oz Velveeta Cheese Spread 1 tsp Nutmeg, ground 1.50 tsp Pepper, black 2 tsp Salt 3 cup Asparagus, fresh 3 cup Cauliflower, raw 0.50 cup pieces Mushrooms, cooked 1.50 cup, chopped Onions, raw
Directions
Simmer asparagus onion and cauliflower till cooked firm and drain. Add butter and velveeta and let melt. Stir in mlk, mushrooms and seasoniings. Simmer 15 minutes. Thicken with corn starch, or preferred mothod.
