3 cup, halves Pecans 3 pat (1" sq, 1/3" high) Butter, salted
Melt butter in a non-stick pan on medium high heat. Add the pecan halves and stir to coat. Stir constantly until the pecans darken and you can smell them. Pour onto a baking sheet and salt to taste. Can be eaten warm or cooled. Store cooled nuts in an airtight container.
