Red Lentil Soup

1 cup Red Lentils, Dry 4 tsp Garam Masala Spice Blend (more or less to taste)3.5 cup (8 fl oz) WaterSalt, to tastesome type of blending device
Rinse lentils. Put lentils and water in pot and bring to a boil. Then lower to medium heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
Remove from heat, add garam masala and salt. Use your favorite blending device (I like a stick blender), and puree until smooth.
You can save a few of the cooked lentils, before you puree them, to use as a garnish.
Serving Size: Makes 4 3/4 cup servings
