Cucumber onion salad

Ingredients
1/4 sugar1 cup Apple cider vinegar1 cup water1/4 tsp. pepper1/4 tst. garlic powdersalt to taste3 cucumbers - sliced1 white onion - sliced
Directions
Mix first 5 ingrediants in microwave safe dish and heat until sugar is melted. Slice cucumber and onion. Add to mixture and refrigerate at least 2 hours. Add salt to taste if needed
