Ingredients
1 serving Rice - Uncle Ben's Ready Whole Grain Medley - Brown & Wild serving = 1 cup 4 cup Green Beans, FreshCut, Cut Green Beans, No Salt Added 1 serving 1 Med. Green Bell Pepper 1 cup, chopped Onions, raw 2 cup Tomato Sauce, Hunts Sauce 16 oz Ground beef, lean 6 serving Bacon - Farmland Thick Sliced Bacon 1 tsp Morton Iodized Salt 0.5 tsp Pepper, black
Directions
Greased 9 x 12 casserole dish with olive oil Sprinkle brown rice on the bottom Drain green beans and placed on top of rice Chop one cup of green peppers and one cup of onion and spread on top of the casserole Add half the salt and pepper Add 8 ounces of tomato sauce on top (add a quarter cup of water to the sauce before placing on top) Sprinkle the ground beef on top of the casserole and season with salt and pepper add additional additional 8 ounces of tomato sauce with 1/4 cup water on top of ground beef Place six strips of bacon on top Cook the casserole at 350 degrees for one hour covered. Takeoff cover and cook for an additional 30 minutes. Serving Size: 12
