Plum Dumplings

Ingredients
Flour, white, 3 cupBaking Powder, 3 tspSalt, .75 tspEgg, fresh, 2 largeSour Cream, reduced fat, 3 tbspMilk, 1%, .5 cupPlums, 20 fruit (2-1/8" dia)Granulated Sugar, .5 tsp
Directions
Dough for dumplings

3 full cups flour
1 heaping tbsp Baking powder
3/4 tsp salt

Mix together and make a well

Add:
2 beaten eggs
3 tbsp Sour Cream
1/3 to 1/2 cup milk

Mix together with hands

Start to boil water in a dutch oven or Large Roaster 1/2 full of water with 1 tbsp of salt and 1 tbsp of cooking oil

Roll out dough on floured surface
Cut into squares to fit plums.
Pinch ends over plum - roll in hand making sure dough is sealed over the plum Lay on floured waxed paper until all the plums are rolled (water should be
boiling)

Slow boil 15-20 minutes - leave lid on pot as dumplings will fall (NO PEAKING)

This recipe makes enough dough for 20-25 dumplings

Serve on a platter with buttered fried bread crumbs
