Ingredients
1 pound lean ground beef1 clove garlic, minced1 large onion, chopped4 tbsp chili powder1 tsp cider vinegar1/4 tsp allspice1/4 tsp coriander1 tsp cumin1/2 tsp salt1/2 cup water14 oz can diced tomatoes14 oz can kidney beans (with liquid)1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
Directions
serves 4

1. Brown onions, garlic and beef. Drain grease.
2. Add remaining ingredients.
3. Simmer 45 minutes.

    My family has been making this recipe ever since it appeared in Consumer Reports magazine. I've won several chili cook-offs with it! The blend of spices give it a complex, delicious flavor that you don't find in chilis that just contain the standard chili powder and cumin. Simply the best! - 8/14/11
