Banana Oat Bars

Ingredients
2 cups Oats2 cups Whole Wheat Flour4 large ripe bananas, mashed1/4 cup Olive Oil2 teaspoons Butter1/2 cup Organic Honey1/2 teaspoon Salt1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract1/2 cup Hot Water1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
Directions
Pre-heat oven at 350 degrees.

Sift all dry ingrediants together in large bowl. Add all liquid ingrediants and stir to moisten and then add mashed bananas. Mix thoroughly.

Bake in 9"by13" pan until toothpick inserted into cake comes out clean. Cool and cut into 24 bars and serve

    I made 40 with mine. I added flaxseed and will probably add more cinnamon next time. Very easy to make. By the way, i baked it for 40 minutes, how long did yours take ??? Not specified in the recipe. Loloute ;o) - 4/28/10
