Banana Bread Oatmeal

Ingredients
3 cups skim 3 tbsp packed brown sugar1 tbsp cinnamon1/4 tsp nutmeg2 cups old fashioned oats1 cup mashed bananas
Directions
In medium sucepan bring milk, brown sugar & spices to a gentle boil (watch carefully); stir in oats. Return to a boil;reduce heat to medium. Cook 5 minutes or until most of the liquid has been absorbed, stirring occasionally.

Remove from heat. Stir in mashed bananas. Spoon into bowls.

Makes 6 servings.

    absolutely delicious! I made a single serving and it was the best homemade oatmeal I've ever had. The only thing I did differently was to add the banana while it was cooking, and to let it cook for about 20 minutes on low. I will definitely make this again! - 10/16/07
