Healthy Spaghetti Bake

12 oz. whole wheat spaghetti1 lb ground turkey breast1 cup chopped white onion1 cup chopped breen bell pepper1 can diced tomatoes1 jar (4.5 oz. dry weight) mushrooms1 tsp oregeno2 cups 2% shredded cheddar cheese1/4 cup reduced fat grated parmesan cheese1 can cream of mushroom soup1/2 cup water
Cook pasta and set aside.
Cook ground turkey in a large pan with onions and green pepper until the turkey is completely cooked.
Add the undrained can of tomatoes, the drained can of mushrooms and the oregeno. Simmer for 10 minutes.
In a 9x13 dish layer half the pasta, half the meat mixture and then 1 cup of cheddar cheese. Repeat.
Mix the can of cream of mushroom soup with 1/2 cup water. Spread on top.
Sprinkle parmesan cheese on top.
Bake in the oven on 350 for 35 minutes.

I tried this recipe, mainly because everyone said it was good! Not for my taste buds or my wife's! We both thought it was very bland with hardly any taste. We ate it with garlic toast, which helped a bit. I won't make this again and am throwing out the paper I printed the recipe on. - 10/26/12
