Meatballs in Mushroom-Onion Gravy

Ingredients
1½ pounds ground beef1 can French Onion soup½ cup bread crumbs1 egg2 Tbs. oil2 Tbs. flour4 oz. can sliced mushrooms, undrained
Directions
Mix ¼ of the can of soup with the ground beef, bread crumbs and egg. Do NOT add any salt! Shape into balls the size of golf balls.

Heat oil in skillet and fry meatballs, turning until browned on all sides.

Sprinkle meatballs with flour and turn again. Add remaining soup and mushrooms. Stir, then cover and simmer very slowly for about a half-hour.

Serves 4 adults.
