Cabbage n Bean soup

Ingredients
.5 head cabbage2.5 c cooked white beans1 can bush's chili starter2 tbl canola oil1 can tomato sauce2.5 c brothblend of latin or indian spices - I make my own
Directions
Bloom dried spices in oil for 30 seconds. Basically this means to cook the spices in the oil until the flavor and aroma really develops. Saute cabbage in oil until slightly wilted, add beans and saute for a few minutes. Add tomato sauce then broth ( I use homemade vegetarian, but you can use whatever). Cook over low to medium heat for about 30 minutes. My times are not so precise while i cook - so these are just guesses.
