Ingredients
1/2 lb of Ground Turkey1 cup of Broccoli, frozen1 cup of Mild Cheddar and Monterey Jack Shredded1 cup of Minute Brown Rice, uncooked1 cube of chicken flavor bouillon1 clove of Garlic1 can of Healthy Request Cream of Mushroom Soup*NOTE/ALTERNATIVES: -I would suggest using more broccoli, maybe half a bag - but that's all I had left in the freezer!-Plus, in the future I would use a low fat cheese to make it even more healthy. -ALSO - I would use half a can of cream of mushroom, or more meat, it was a little soupy-er than I anticipated.
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Cook brown rice according to box/bag - while water is boiling add a chicken bouillon cube and break it up in the water - then continue with rice directions.
- While rice is cooking, brown ground turkey and add 1 tablespoon of diced garlic or a fresh diced garlic clove.
- Once turkey is browned and rice cooked, pour them both in a casserole dish, add cheese, cream of mushroom soup, and broccoli.
- Bake in oven uncovered for 25-30 minutes.
