Rice Cooker Indian-ish Lentil Dish

1/2 cup brown rice, uncooked1/2 cup lentils, uncooked2 cups water2 Tbsp onion, chopped1 clove garlic, minced1/4 tsp ground coriander1/4 tsp ground cumin1 Tbsp soy sauce 1 Tbsp mirin (or 1 tsp sugar)Note: Mirin is Japanese sweet cooking sake available at Asian grocery stores. I highly recommend it!
Combine lentils, rice, water, onion, and garlic in rice cooker. Cook for 40-45 minutes.
Then scoop into a large bowl. Mix in soy sauce, mirin, coriander, and cumin and stir well.
