Old Fashioned Sugar Cream Pie

2 1/4 C. 1% milk1 C. sugar1/4 C. cornstarchpinch of salt1 tsp. Vanilla Extract1/2 C. butternutmeg(for sprinkling on top)1 pie crust for 9 in. pie(frozen, refrigerated, or homemade)
Bake piecrust following the directions on the box.
Preheat oven to 375
Put all ingredients (except nutmeg) into a saucepan and cook over med. high heat until thickened. Pour into baked piecrust and sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake for 10 min. Let sit until cooled then slice and serve.
