Stuffed Peppers

Ingredients
2 green bell peppers1 15 oz can tomato sauce1/2 pound lean ground beef1 egg2 cloves minced garlic1 tbsp Italian seasonings1 cup cooked rice1 cup Mexican style finely shredded cheese
Directions
cut green peppers in half lengthwise and remove seeds and core. Place cut side up (like a cup) in a baking dish that's been sprayed with cooking spray.
in a bowl mix together ground beef, egg, garlic, rice, and italian seasonings. Add half the can of tomato sauce. Mix well and divide equally among the peppers, filling the cups. Pour the rest of sauce over the filled peppers. Bake in a 350F oven for 20 minutes. Remove and put 1/4 of cheese on each pepper and return to oven for another 15 minutes.
