4 lb chuck roast1 tsp salt 1 tsp pepper2 tbsp oil1 onion, chopped1 tsp chili1 tsp garlic1 1/4 diced green chilis3/4 c hot pepper sauce
Place roast in slow cooker. Mix rest of ingredients and spoon over meat. Pour in water until 1/3 covered, being careful not to wash off sauce. Cover and cook on High for 6 hours, then low for 2-4 hours (or low for 10-12 hours). Shred meat. Thicken sauce with flour if needed. Serves 16
