Easy Black Bean Hummus

Ingredients
15 oz. can black beans, drained and rinsed15 oz can garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed1/4 c. reserved bean juice1/4 c. water4 tbsp lemon juice3 cloves garlic, finely minced1 tsp sesame oil1/4 tsp cumin5 pieces of sundried tomato1/4 tsp ground red pepper1 tbsp dried (or fresh) parsleysalt & pepper to taste
Directions
Place all ingredients except parsley into food processor. Process until smooth. Remove to dish, sprinkle with parsley. Refrigerate in covered dish for 2 hrs. Enjoy w/ warm pitas or fresh vegetables such as carrots, celery, sweet pepper, etc.

    I thought this was phenominal. But I will say it is definitely a recipe you MUST allow to sit and mesh together for the 2 hours. Cannot wait to try mixing it up a bit. I did make it exactly as the recipe states. My husband kept saying he didnt like the taste of the seseme oil. --He ate it tho! - 7/1/10

    My processor didn't get it so smooth so I strained it, but I think mine was a bit moist. I left out the red pepper and sun dried tomatoes and it still tastes great!! No extra salt is needed with canned beans! yummo!! - 12/20/07
