Applesauce French Toast

* 2 eggs, medium * 3/4 cup lowfat milk * 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon * 2 tablespoons white sugar * 1/4 cup applesauce, unsweetened * 6 slices of light whole grain bread (aunt millie's is good)
In a mixing bowl, combine the eggs, milk, cinnamon, sugar and applesauce. Mix until smooth.
Soak bread one slice at a time until saturated with liquid.
Cook on a lightly greased skillet or griddle or frying pan over medium/high heat until lightly browned on both sides. Serve hot.
