Classic Shortcake

Ingredients
2 cups flour2 tbsp. sugar1/2 tsp. baking soda1 tbsp. baking powder1/4 tsp. salt1/2 cup butter1/2 cup sour-cream1/4 cup 2% milk
Directions
Combine all dry ingrediants. Cut in butter finely. Combine sour-cream and milk. Add to dry mixture.
Stir to make a soft dough.

Gather into a ball and place on a lightly floured surface. Knead gently about 8 times. Roll out to 3/4" thickness. Cut into 4" rounds. Bake in 425' oven for 10-15 min. until golden brown.

To serve split in half while warm. Spoon fruit over bottom half, add scoop of ice-cream, top with other half and more fruit. Is also delicious with fresh whipped cream!
Makes 8 to 10 servings depending on size of biscuits.
