Super Sloppy Joes

Ingredients
1 pound ground sirloin3/4 cup finely chopped onion1/4 cup finely chopped carrots1/4 cup finely chopped red or green bell peppers2 garlic cloves, minced1/3 cup ketchup1 can (8 ounces) no salt added tomato sauce1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce1 teaspoon chili powder1/2 teaspoon brown sugar
Directions
Makes 6 servings

Cook beef, turkey, onion, carrot, celery, bell pepper, and garlic in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat until meat is fully cooked, stirring frequently to crumble meat. Drain.

Return mixture to skillet. Add ketchup, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, and brown sugar. Cover. Reduce heat to low and simmer 15 minutes or until vegetables are tender.

Spoon mixture onto buns.
