Yue's Braided Raisin Bread

Ingredients
Directions
Water, tap, .75 cup (8 fl oz)Organic cane sugar, 12 tsp Egg, fresh, 2 largeSalt, .5 tsp Flour, white, 3 cup Butter, unsalted, 4 tbsp Raisins, .333 cup, packed
Mix wet ingredients in large bowl
Combine with dry ingredients
Kneed for 10 minutes until smooth and elastic
Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 40 minutes.
Separate into 6 balls, and let them rest for 5 minutes
Make each ball into a long rope about 1.5 inch in diameter
Braid three together to make 2 braided breads
Let rise for 40 minutes
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Brush top of bread with egg whites
Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown
(optional) Drizzle honey or sugar water on top
