Curried Venison Pita

1 lb. ground venison2 zucchini, about 7" in length, quarter sized diameter, washed and chopped with skin on1 onion, chopped4-5 cloves garlic, minced4 tbsp curry powder (more or less depending on your personal heat level)up to 1 cup H2Osalt and pepper to taste4 medium whole wheat pitas, cut in half and warmed
Heat large saute pan on med-high heat. Brown venison, stirring frequently, approx. 5 minutes. add garlic and onions. Cook until slightly tender, approx. 5 more min. Add zucchini and curry. Stir to combine, 1 minute. Add water to cover about halfway. Bring to a boil; boil for 3 minutes. Return to simmer. Reduce liquid by 3/4. Spoon into warmed pitas, cut in half.
** note: serving size is 1/2 pita filled w/1/8 of mixture.
