Basic Spicy Hummus

Ingredients
3.5 cups of rehydrated garbanzo beans4 T tahini4 T lemon juice2 cloves garlic1 t cayenne pepper1 t ground cumin2 t salt (feel free to use less)Food processor
Directions
Rehydrate beans in your favorite method, either pressure cooker or soaking overnight. Put everything in a food processor, and pulse until it comes together. I have found that crushing the garlic beforehand really helps blend it in smoothly. Once it begins to form a paste, turn it on and let it run for a few minutes. It will start to get fluffy and thick, like mashed potatoes.

This is a very creamy recipe, and a suitable substitute for spreads on sandwiches.
