- Number of Servings: 48
Ingredients
Directions
4-1/2 cups sugar1-1/2 cups clear jell2 tsp. cinnamon1 tsp. salt1/4 tsp. nutmeg 10 cups water3 T. lemon juice4 quarts sliced peaches
In a large kettle combine everything except lemon juice and peaches. Make sure everything is smooth. Bring to a boil stirring constantly. Boil for 2 more minutes. Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice, then stir in the peaches. Place into clean quart canning jars. Clean jar rims and place new lids on. Tighten rings. Place into a hot water bath canner. Add enough hot water to canner to come to the neck of the jars. Place lid on canner and bring to a boil. Turn heat down to keep at a gentle boil and boil for 20 minutes. Remove from canner and let cool on counter top. When cool, check to make sure they sealed. Press on top of lid, if it stays down tight, it is sealed and you can remove rings and store on a shelf. If it is not sealed, store in refrigerator and use within a week. Makes 6 quarts of pie filling. Enough for 6 9" pies.

Probably. I've never tried it with splenda. As long as you don't mind the taste of splenda, I don't think it would change the way the recipe turned out.
