Ingredients
674 cowpeas (black eye peas) dry10 1/2 cups of water 1 1/2 cup corn meal1 1/2 cup sugar78 grams onion 1 gr garlicnutmeg a dashsalt 1 teaspoon1 tbsp canola oil
Directions
wash peas bring to a boil for 1 and half hour with garlic onion and nutmeg when it is tender pres the peas with a potato press add salt and sugar when finisg put th corn meal and keep turning it tit it is cooked then serve with whatever you want like fish chicken cheese or you can just eat it plain when it finish cook it will be a little soft but after a while it will be good to cut
you can put less sugar if you want and less salt if you want it dipens on every one taste
