Ingredients
Ground beef, lean, 16 oz (remove)Onions, raw, .5 cup, chopped (remove)Garlic, 4 cloves (remove)*Sun-Vista Red Kidney Beans, 32 oz (remove)*Tomato products, canned, sauce, spanish style, 3 can, 15 oz (303 x 406) (remove)*365 Organic Diced Tomatoes, 1.75 cup (remove)Water, tap, 1 cup (8 fl oz) (remove)Bay Leaf, 1 tbsp, crumbled (remove)Chili powder, 6 tbsp (remove)Salt, 1 tbsp (remove)Brown Sugar, 3 tsp unpacked (remove)Basil, 1 tbsp (remove)Thyme, ground, 1 tbsp (remove)Pepper, black, 1 tbsp (remove)Oregano, ground, 1 tsp (remove)Marjoram, dried, 1 tsp (remove)
Directions
Cook beef,onion and garlic. Add to slow cooker with remaining ingredients and cook on low 4-5 hours.

    Perfect..I needed a good chili recipe complete with the layers of herbs and spices and here it is! I'm using "No Salt" instead of salt and using no sodium tomato products while adding in the "No Salt" to make this the chili I've been looking for in a long while..especially for low sodium folks..TY! - 10/22/10
