Ingredients
Directions
One medium apple, cored - I like a tart apple, like Jonathan, McIntosh, or Rome Beauty1 Tbsp lowfat cream cheese (cooks better than the fat free)1 Tbsp powdered sugar2 tsp fat free milk
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Core the apple all the way through - no need to fill the bottom - contents will stay put
Mix the cream cheese and powdered sugar until creamy. Add milk and mix until smooth.
Fill the apple with the cream cheese mixture. Bake in a pie plate or other small baking dish for 30 -40 min or until the apple is tender when pierced with a fork. (Time varies with variety and size of apple).
