1 can dark red kidney beans1-2 cans seasoned chili kidney beans1 pound lean ground beef1 large can diced or crushed tomatoes. approx 14 ouncesSalt to tasteYou can add elbow pasta if desired.
1. Slightly brown the ground beef in a large skillet.
2. Add the chili beans, kidney beans and diced tomatoes into a large crockpot.
3. Add the browned beef.
4. Cook on high for 1 to 2 hours or 3 to 4 hours on low heat. If short on time, you can cook on the stovetop until the beef is fully cooked.
5. Add salt to taste.
6. Makes 6-8 servings and freezes well!
