1 lb. pitted dates12 oz dried figs12 oz raisins4 oz cashew pieces1/2 c. toasted sunflower seeds1 cup sesame seeds1 cup oats1 cup natural peanut butter1/4 - 1/2 cup honey (haven't decided yet)
Makes 30 bars. Mix all ingredients except peanut butter and honey in food processor. May need to do it in batches if your processor isn't heavy duty. Bring the honey to a boil then reduce heat and simmer 8 minutes. Add PB and honey after the ingredients are well chopped and combines. Press the mix onto parchment paper in a jelly roll pan using the pan to help you press out 1/2 inch deep bars. Chill and then cut into bars and wrap individually.
