Alphabet Soup

Ingredients
5 cups chicken broth or water1 cup alphabet pasta1 6 oz. can tomato paste1/2 cup milk1/2 tsp. salt1/2 tsp. pepper
Directions
-In a medium saucepan, bring the broth or water to a boil.
-Stir in the alphabet pasta and bring the mixture back to a boil. Lower heat a bit and boil for required time, usually 9 or 10 minutes.
-Without draining the pan, add the can of tomato paste and the milk, and stir until blended. Season with salt and pepper.
-Remove from heat and let sit for a few minutes before serving to allow mixture to thicken and cool slightly.
-Makes 4 to 6 servings, which can be packaged into portions and frozen.

    So easy to make! A good, basic recipe that can be adjusted to your tastes. I used bay leaf, garlic, kemut alphabet pasta and added 2 Tbsp sugar. Delicious! - 10/18/11
