- Prepare ingredients for meat mixture
- Set oven to preheat at 350 degrees
- Line a baking pan with aluminum foil.
- Combine all meat mixture items into 1 bowl.
- Take 1/2 of the meat mixture and form into a ball. Place on one side of the lined baking pan. Shape into a loaf.
- Repeat step 5 with remaining meat mixture.
- Bake for 45 minutes uncovered.
- Combine all sauce ingredients in one bowl and whisk together completely. Set aside.
- Remove loaves from oven. Remove from pan w/foil. Reline pan with clean foil and place loaves back into pan. This will remove all the fat that has drained from the meats - not something we'd want to eat!
- Use a fork and pierce the top of each loaf in several spots.
- Use 1/2 of the sauce to cover the top of each loaf.
- Return to oven and bake for another 15 minutes uncovered.
Recipe should yield 5-6 servings PER LOAF for a total of 10-12 servings. Nutrition calculations are provided for 12 servings.
