1 46 oz. can tomato juice, with salt2 cans of Bush's vegetarian baked beans (or whatever beans you like)2 cans kidney or red beans1 can tomatoes w/green chilies4 tbls chilli powder1 tsp cumin powder
Makes 8 1-cup servings (possibly with leftovers)
Throw everything into one large soup pot and simmer until it's as thick as you like.
TIP: mix a little water into the chili powder before adding it - seems to intensify the heat.
Can add crushed dried red peppers. This is a basic recipe that can be endlessly played with.
