simple turkey meat loaf

Ingredients
1 lb ground turkey1 cup diced onion1 to 1 1/2 c oldfashioned oat meal1/2 Tbsp oregano1 clove or 1 Tbsp crushed garlic . to taste
Directions
oven 350 degrees.

Mix all ingredients in large bowl.
mix well.
put into casserole dish with cover and bake for about 45 minutes to 1 hr at 350 degrees.
when checking meatloaf it should not be red in center and you don't want to bake it so long that the top drys out. Keep covered to avoid this.

Can serve with gravy on top or with katsup. You will need to compensate calorie intake for this. Also makes great leftover sandwiches.

    Used this as starting point, switching corn meal for the oat meal. And I had left over turkey breast to use. And I like adding more spices than just garlic. Am on a turmeric run, using it for breakfast, too. - 1/2/21
