Simple Split Pea Soup

Ingredients
2 cups split peas8 cups chicken Broth1 large carrot, choppedI medium onion chopped1 stalk celery chopped. combine fresh veggies and sweat slowly over low heat. When onions are translucent and carrots are cooked through add the broth and split peas. cook on low for about 30 minutes. I then puree mine, but that is optional
