Turkey - Sauerkraut Soup

1 medium head cabbage, chopped1 14 oz can sauerkraut, drained and rinsed4 c. sliced celery4 c. sliced carrots2 large onions, diced3 lbs canned, diced tomatoes10 c. chicken broth1/2 c. snipped parsley2 T. granulated sugar1/3 c. fresh lemon juice1 t. smoked paprika2 dashes tobascosalt and pepper to taste1 lb diced cooked, left over turkey
Put all ingredients in a large stock pot. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover and allow to simmer for a couple of hours. Add turkey, cover and allow to heat through. Add more broth, salt and peper to taste and as needed.
