Single-serve Microwave Apple Crisp

Ingredients
1 small apple, peeled, cored and sliced1Tbls plus 1 tsp Tbls margarine2 Tbls brown sugar, packed1 Tbls plus 1 tsp whole wheat flour (white is ok)1/2 tsp ground cinnamon (or to taste)
Directions
Place apple slices in a small microwavable bowl. In a separate bowl, melt margarine in microwave, and mix in brown sugar, oats, flour and cinnamon. Sprinkle topping on apples. Cook on high power in microwave for 2 minutes or until apples are tender.

Makes 1 serving.

    microwave would not make a crisp. I would suggest putting it in the toaster oven at 350deg for about 10 min.

    tastes delicious! but the "crisp" doesn't get crispy at all even after additional time in the microwave. - 10/26/10
