Stacey's Black-Eyed Pea Soup

Ingredients
3 -12 oz bags of fresh black eyed peas2 cans diced tomatoes and green chilies(rotelle)1 purple onion, diced6 sliced thick HEB bacon2 cups small red potatoessalt and pepper to tastetouch of Louisiana hot saucejavascript:void(0);
Directions
Soak peas overnight (these were presoaked). Then saute onion and bacon together....put all ingredients in crock pot and let simmer for 6-7 hours.
