Ingredients

    1 (14.4-ounce) can fat-free chicken broth
1 (14.4-ounce) can corn, drained and rinsed
1 (14.4-ounce) can black beans, drained and rinsed
    1 (14.4-ounce) can fat-free refried beans

Tips

My mom gave me this recipe. She eats it daily. It is very tasty! I started losing weight after adding it to my regular diet. Sometimes I add hot sauce to spice it up a bit! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan, whisking to integrate the refried beans. Simmer, then serve. Garnish as desired.
Try: sour cream, avocado, or green onions.

i made this soup last night and had to come on today to rate it. its great! we will definately be making this again. I added a can of rotells tomatoes with green chillies and diced up boneless chicken to it. I also added more broth for more servings. This soup needs no extra seasoning Thanks! - 2/20/09

Good and filling! Did not have the flavoured black beans so added some tobasco and lime juice! Nice addition. Measured out before serving and it made 9 1/4 cups! So 1 serving is just shy of a cup! Also served with a dollop of fat free sour cream. - 1/21/08

I re-entered in the recipe calculator for 4 servings at 238 calories. I mixed it up cold and divided evenly into containers for a quick grab & go lunch. I used Mild Rotel. Next time I will look for low sodium products. - 1/20/11
