Judy's Unstuffed Cabbage

Ingredients
1 lb Kirkland extra lean ground beef 12% lean (or turkey)3/4 large head cabbage chopped to 1.5 inch pieces1C Brown Rice Med Grain3/4 large onion, chopped1 bell pepper, chopped1 C water1 can petite cut diced tomatoes1 can tomato soup2 cloves garlic 1/2 tsp paprika1/2 tsp saltpepper to taste
Directions
~In a large pot over medium high heat, add Meat or Ground Turkey and spices, cook till browned. Set aside

~Saute onions, peppers till translucent add minced garlic to taste. add beef back to veggies.

~Add the soup, water, tomatoes, rice & cabbage. Mix together well and reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes or longer until cabbage is at desired tenderness (stirring thoroughly several times during simmer period,)


Number of Servings: 9, 1 cup servings

**salt to taste, you can always add more if needed...

**Might add extra tomato soup, & reduce water by 1/2 for richer flavor

* Can put ingredients in crock pot as well.
