1 lb medium ground beef2 tbsp chopped garlic1 cup chopped onion2 tbsp chili powder1 tsp ground cinnamon1 tbsp brown sugar19 oz can red kidney beans, including juice28 oz can diced tomatoes4 oz red wine1/2 cup quinoa (uncooked)1 tsp vegeta
Cook beef until browned
Add onion, garlic and spices and cook until onion is softened
Add kidney beans, quinoa, red wine and juice from tomatoes and simmer until thickened - about 1 hour
Stir in tomato pieces and serve over rice
