lightened up oatmeal raisin cookies

Ingredients
1 cup whole wheat flour1 tsp ground cinnamon1 tsp. baking powder1/2 tsp baking soda1/2 tsp salt1 cup packed light brown sugar1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce 2 egg whites2 tbsp butter or margerine ( i calculated with butter)1 1/2 tsp vanilla1-1/3 cups uncooked old fashioned or quick oats1 cup raisins
Directions
preheat oven to 375 degrees
lightly spray cookie sheets w/ nonstick spray
combine flour, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in medium bowl; mix well.
Combine brown sugar, applesauce,egg whites, butter, and vanilla in large bowl. mix until small crumbs form. add flour mixture; mix well. Blend in oats and raisins.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto prepared cookie sheets, 2 inches apart. Bake 10 to 12 min or until golden brown. cool on wire racks. makes 3 1/2 dozen cookies.
